An evening of bubbles, tapas, laughter, networking, and lots of selfies, was the atmosphere at the Ontrend pop up event. Fashionistas and bloggers dressed to impress, flocked in numbers for this prestigious fashion gathering. The mood was set for an unforgettable night of shopping 🙂
BLAZOR: H&M PANTS: Zara BAG: Woolworth BRALET: Guess SHOES: Public desire
The event was hosted at The Bank in Cape Town. Different designers show cased their beautiful designs from swimwear, caps, evening wear, shoes, sunglasses, jewellery just to name a few. Unfortunately I couldn’t see all the designs as I had to leave before the event ended, but I shared some of the ones I had the opportunity to see below.
I’m not a lingerie kind of girl BUT @nette_rose changed my mind, they have delicate and intimate lingerie handmade in Cape town, all their lingerie is produced in limited numbers, so you are guaranteed good quality and exclusivity.:) ladies if you want to impress your man, get your hands on one of their pieces.
One of the designers that captured my eyes was @takechargesa, they have genuine leather bags with built in smartphone and tablet charger in them to make sure your phone or tablet never runs out of battery. I mean what a smart invention!! especially for bloggers like me who are constantly on their phones. Their bags are a MUST HAVE.
@julz_watchthisgap had one of the most stunning full piece swimwear and printed cover ups and kimonos, I loved their side boob full costumes, which by the way, are trending this summer.
@sh.swimwear had a bold, edgy swimwear collection with beautiful bright summer colors.I love the fact that they donate 5% of their profits to local charities, I’m all for businesses that give back to the community.
@rochelle_tayla_designs had an amazing collection of nude, pale pink and leopard print bodysuits, some are side boob style while others have an open back. I am always scared of wearing anything on the nude side or leopard print, as I think the colors will not pop on my skin tone, but after trying on a few and seeing how beautiful they looked on my skin, changed my mind:)
For my next event I’ll make sure I leave when it ends, so I can be able to see all the designs. Regardless, I had a fantastic time. Hope you enjoyed reading nonetheless..and please share your thoughts below:)
